Today we were very excited to go to the launch of MADE, a creative hub right in the centre of the North Laines. The director Leigh-Anne has created a brilliant space, where we can all go, learn a new skill, take in some art and enjoy great food. Our kind of place! So today MADE had a variety of taster workshops for the kids. Pip squeak got stuck in making every craft going from Easter bunting with Mrs Maker to a mini bird’s nest using ribbons and fabric from the lovely Jay from Creative Nature Club (whilst I ate all the mini eggs for said nest..).
MADE holds fun workshops regularly for the kids and there are some great ones during the school hols so be sure to check out their website and book early. We’ve signed up for their Pirates and Princess school on March 30th- parents advised to enjoy their cafe for the duration, sounds good to me!
MADE isn’t just for the kids, there are workshops covering anything from health and beauty, tech and DIY. I’m personally drawn to the fabric jewellery class by Crafty Ginger.
As well as great workshops and art to take in, the ground floor has a sweet cafe which is kid friendly and cake lover friendly too.
This salted caramel gluten free beauty tasted as good as it looks!
We say well done to the MADE team, they have created a must visit place perfect for us creative Brightonian types. We will be back! Lx
